The Japanese phrase 七転び八起き — nanakorobi yaoki — is a reminder that resilience isn’t about never struggling. It’s about finding a way to get back up, however many times it takes.

These black graphic joggers feature the phrase printed vertically in white down one leg, and a summary of the meaning of the proverb on the other.  A wearable reminder to just keep on getting back up.

Made from heavyweight 440 GSM cotton-rich fabric, they have a relaxed, oversized straight-leg fit with open hems (the first time we've done this style!) and a soft brushed-fleece interior. They’re finished with a thick elasticated waistband, an internal drawcord, two side pockets and a back pocket.
