What it is:

A session for parents and carers, on how to support a young person who self-harms. We spoke to young people and asked them what they want their parents/carers to know when it comes to self-harm. We’ll help you understand self-harm, start conversations, and share some general do’s and don’t’s.

Why we’re doing it:

We’ve run this session through schools, but want to also offer it to the wider community. This session is a chance to help people better understand how to support a young person who self-harms, and that’s what HATW is all about.
