About
Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.
This course introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan which allows you to provide your clients and team mates with comprehensive guidance and support for a suspected mental health condition. You will be able to provide signposting to professional help and support that person whilst they are receiving professional assistance.
This course also covers the effects of drugs and alcohol and provides you with the skills and knowledge to implement a positive mental health culture at work.





Who can attend?
Our level 2 course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help you provide a positive mental health culture to your clients and staff within your workplace.
Where are they delivered?
All of our Mental Health First Aid courses can be run in-person at your venue or workplace. We can also run our courses online, but, due to the sensitive nature of the course and our duty of care, we do recommend running in-person training.
What will I learn?
The Level 2 course provides you with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions, support and signposting, stigma, the effects of drugs and alcohol, mental health in the workplace and the first aid for mental health action plan.
Is this a real qualification?
Absolutely, yes! Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded the Ofqual regulated Level 2 Awards in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF). Qualifications are valid for three years from the date of achievement.
