Our training will span across three evenings in order to make the content as accessible as possible. Attendance at all three sessions is required in order to achieve the Level 2 Qualification.

Where it is:

Online! We’re hosting this training via Google Meet. We’ll also be using some ace online workshop tools, so please attend on a laptop or desktop computer, in a quiet environment with a good WiFi connection.

What it is:

Fully accredited First Aid for Mental Health training. Helping people to recognise and support those with poor Mental Health at work and in everyday life.

Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.

This course introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan which allows you to provide others, your clients and team mates with comprehensive guidance and support for a suspected mental health condition. You will be able to provide signposting to professional help and support that person whilst they are receiving professional assistance.

This course also covers the effects of drugs and alcohol and provides you with the skills and knowledge to implement a positive mental health culture at work. Regulated by OfQual.

Why we’re doing it:

We’ve run this session for teams in the workplace, but want to also offer it to the wider community. This session is a chance to help people better understand how to support those who might be experiencing a mental health crisis.
